Sai Baba's New Yajur Mandiram

After reading this, correspondents inquired as to the meaning of the initials "YM" as given in the quoted report. It stands for 'Yajur Mandiram', and is the new abode of Sai Baba. Why the Baba feels the need to contantly move house is beyond me, rather like a cat on a hot tin roof. After living in the original Prashanthi Mandir for a total of 43 years, he moved into the Poornachandra Auditorium after the events of June 1993 and allowed construction work to furnish a new and luxurious apartment within the building as well as two opulent and round balconies on either side. The sandy and stony ground outside was converted into a garden which no one was ever allowed to admire for long before being pushed away asked to leave by the devoted sycophants voluntary workers (sevadals).

And now, after nearly thirteen years of residence there, the Baba has decided to move house again. Getting rid of the garden, two new buildings were constructed on either side of the famous Sarva Dharma pillar. On 30th March 2006 Sai Baba moved into one of the buildings and christened it 'Yajur Mandiram'. Here are some pictures of the new palace (from the outside of course):
